As Margaret Atwood so poignantly wrote, “In the spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt.”
While our current issue of Origami Journal reflects our story selections for Spring and Summer, we believe Ms. Atwood’s words ring true for all seasons. We should, as creators, writers, photographers, and artists, approach our work without fear of getting dirty. We need to dig, to sweat, to get out, to play, to experiment.
We hope you enjoy these wonderful stories and photography that continue to inspire us to get out of our homes, offices, and comfort zones, and get dirty.
We hope you enjoy many days of sun and blooms.
